What do you all think about this bundle? I have a case already. I also have a geforce 3 64 mb card that I'll be using with it until I can get the new ati 9800 256 DDR ram vid card.

hey, you stole <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=10&t=49802' target='_blank'>my idea</a>! though I stole it from Thansal =P the prices at that site look good to me, considering the fact that they test stuff for you too...

LoL Did you check out the specs on the MotherBoard? <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> 8 USB slots. Woot. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> I'm running a 1.4 AMD ThunderBird at the moment. I'm wanting a faster Computer for all the new games that are comming out such as DOOM III and HL2. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> Plus I'm going to start trying out Bryce and Poser so I'll need to be able to render at a faster pace. Oh well. 1 Gig ram = boner. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--emo&::nerdy::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/nerd.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='nerd.gif'><!--endemo-->

Don't get a 256 meg card, they're pointless. By the time youll actually NEED that much, your card will most likely need updated anyway.

So you actually believe the 256 meg card is overkill? Wouldn't it help considerably with rendering? Or is it such a little improvement that it's just not worth shelling out the extra $?
