<div class="IPBDescription">Customize options,Crosshairs, Show hints</div> When playing NS I couldn't help but notice that a little helpful menu keeps popping up on info on just about everything. Hurray you got a kill. Thats a Resource Tower. Oh look a HIVE!. Anyways it's not needed.
So I have tried to disable it.. a bit harder then one would imagine.. Simply going to the Show Hints option in the Custom settings didn't seem to disable it. (it would enable itself again as soon as I joined a game) Now I have enough things going on my screen as it is. Would anyone happen to know how to permently disable this feature?
Oh and while I am on the topic of small Nuisances is there a easy way to change the crosshairs to simply a standard small aiming cross hair. The current marine one is pretty and all but it's to large for my tastes.

Anyways its cl_autohelp 0 in console to turn it off.
Also if u after new crosshairs u might try the customization forum they have some stickys near the top with new models and extras
If u played 1.04 u would know that the crosshairs were alot more compact and nicer but they changed them all in 2.0 to add to the atmosphere, hence why thier blue and big. You get used to them in time tho.
