    I didn't quite consider it a technical problem, so no. I tried cl_fullscreen but that wasn't it... I'm down to randomly typing letters in steam console to find out...

    By console, do you mean actual console commands or shortcut command line arguments? (A friend just asked me today if it was possible to change from windowed to fullscreen without actually opening HL in steam because after changing it to windowed mode it crashes his laptop. I didn't know how to help him other than looking up possible command line arguments)

    Seeing as basically everything you type in the shortcut, like -map, -port, -game and all that stuff can be entered in a .cfg or in the console itself, I'd reckon a command SHOULD be around..hmm..good question.
