Warning: Couldn't Find Valve/halflife.wad

<div class="IPBDescription">Warning: couldn't find valve/halflife.wa</div> it says "Warning: couldn't find valve/halflife.wad" when i play NS. ive tried searching these forums, and reinstall ns/hl to no avail., HEELP?

    Re-isntall half-life....halflife.wad is a .wad file containing all of the default textures and is over 30mb.....You could try searching for it at <a href='http://www.google.com' target='_blank'>Google</a>. I'd just reinstall halflife if I were you....

    i see you have already tried to reinstall.....Here are some choices:

    1.) Have someone send you halflife.wad
    2.) Search for it to download (websites, etc)
    3.) If you have Blue Shift or Opposing force, you can get halflife wad from their folders.
    4.) Install hl to a different directory (c:/mygames/sierra/half-life) and see if it installs the wad there and if it does, drag it over.
