Ns Crashing

When steam was released, many people downloaded it.
I dind't d/l it, I kept playing on WON servers.
But everytime a match is over, I crash <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->
It seems that when the match is over and the structures build in the last round are being erased, I crash.

Can some plz help me.

I'm having the exact same problem, but I'm using steam
The only way I've been able to fix it is to quit the game when the round is over, restart ns and join the game again.
Hope they get this worked out til 2.1

I know, its so annoying... Anyone know how soon 2.1 will be released? I'm tired of using it on STEAM.

Well, my temp fix is to open the console and type "retry" 3 times.

I really think plp should choose whether they want STeam or WON, Steam is a pita for 56k users....

I almost always crash on a mapchange. I have actually crashed numerous times in a row when I was trying to join a team... reconnecting to the server about 3 times "fixed" this for me. I wish there was a way to fix this.......

Same problem. Freezes, sound loops, then "Windows must shut the program down".
When should I type retry?

I guess there isn't any real way to fix this problem, but hopefully the first official steam ns client will work. That reminds me, just for the record, I have tried both the steam and non-steam versions of ns and each have crashed equal amounts of times.... basically.
