okay, so the spore carrying enemies CAN be grunts but are not grunts EXCLUSIVELY.

sorry for not noticing that they can possibly be grunts.

what difficulty does everyone play on?

The flood is supposed to be all "headcrab" shaped. The flood has no real form.

They invade corpses and revitalize them similar to what headcrabs did in half-life.
So, if you want to be technical, there is only one type of "flood." All the bigger flood types you fight are corpses which held those weapons.

The poppers? That's what they all turn into given enough time.. essentially one big larva.

In halo 2, I bet they will introduce a new race. Seeing how they covered the "human" and "protoss" aspects, I think the next race we can expect will be like the "zerg" from starcraft.

I play on Legendary if I have a friend, but that's only on X-BoX. I played on Easy and beat it, fun, but I don't really try when playing Halo Single Player, I just play it to have fun. I don't think I'll ever try Legendary unless I have a Trainer, I don't care for endless waves of Uber Enemies. Plus my computer probably wouldn't run it. ^_^ ()

i'm like.. strangely compatible with halo, so even frustration is fun (<b>edit</b>: although by now... obviously i'm not frustrated that often...) lol.

it's actually very weird how much i like this game.. 0_o...

Zig, Im with you. Its like I get frustrated, but never to the point where its not fun. I still don't see why so many people bad mouth Halo on the Xbox. I found it very enjoying, on legedary its very challenging, and the story made it play out like a movie. Sure, some of the levels were repetitive (i.e. the library), but not enough so to turn me completely off from the game. The most enjoyable still is getting 4 people together, sitting down, and haveing a good ol death match (especially while drinking <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'> ). Since Im so much better than my friends ( Im starving for a real challange on the Xbox), I usually have 3 against one (they form an alliance against me, but I am still unstoppable because they don't understand how powerful each weapon is in its own way), another thing, each weapon is well balanced and deadly in the hands of someone who knows how to use them, as is each vehicle, no weapon/vehicle is better than the other, it just depends on what style you play.

No, I want like... give me [Insert Weapon Here] and spawn [Vehicle] trainer, this just enables, Infinite Pistol, AR, Shotgun, RL, Sniper rifle, Flamethrower Ammo, basicly all Human weapons, and button that gives you 99 Frag Nades.

lol yea that co op mode was awsome

I was playing the maw level on legendary. It was the very end. I was in the gunner station and my friend as driving. We hit a grenade and I was blown way back. A giant swarm of covenant was swarming all over me. I was like GO MAN GO save yourselfSO we can win!

My friend jumps back in the warthog and drives off leaving me blasting away with my shotgun.

I kill off all the baddies and futiley try to run over 1.5 KM to the ship. I was running with some covenant grunts who gave up and were cowering in the corner.
My friend makes it to the ship gets out and jumps into the back of the evac transport with 2 seconds to go. The screen was already turning white from the explosion.

Then that cut scene comes up with the lone master chief talking to cortana. Without me. It was all sad like I really didnt make it lol.

Ill miss the co op in my PC version.

They actualy made it so you need different CD keys for every PC in a lan too. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif'>

Yeah, that happened to me, I just ended up getting ran over. That sucks the Cut-Scene still only have I Master Cheif in Co-op, oh well.

I completed it on normal... I like to see what difficulty the developers thought people should be completing it on ^^

Only problem is I rarely broke a sweat and often ended up chasing after things to finish them with the back-end of the gun lol <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'>
I especially like doing the last blow on gold, sword-waving elites with my rifle knowing if they'd hit me it would've been an instant kill =D

Yeah, I never understood how you could put so many machine gun bullets into the back of a hunter, but 2 pistol shots in the back will kill it dead.

Maybe they put like mini-nukes in the pistol bullets or something.

well the pistol description does say they're semi-armour piercing explosive tip bullets in that lil magnum of yours ^^
I just ran about with the AR and shotgun; AR for ammo conservation and shotgun for killing stuff FAST <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'>

<b>Hunters:</b> I just kill them by getting them to run at me then backpedalling while emptying clips into their face from only a few inches away... seems to kill them pretty fast o.O

you guys are afraid of hunters? They are so easy to kill! (at least alone or with another one, as they usually travel in packs of 2).

They are so predictable and vulnerable at close range, I can kill one on legendary and not even use any ammo, I just beat the crap out of them!!
