ROFL.

Trust me, if 200 redneck NASCAR drivers can do it, anyone can. And yes, NASCAR is racing. There's no difference in the level of retardation between F1, Indy, Rally, or NASCAR racing. They are all equally lame.

I'm pretty sure the monkey was more qualified to be an astronaut than any car racer, Nem. I've met quite a few of them down here. Racers that is, not monkeys.

Except in NASCAR they are making a left turn for 3 hours on a circle, with stock cars that have the same engine specs and maybe minor suspension work done in the pit, and the rednecks obviously can't do it since they have about 20 crashes per race, and even a minor accident in F-1 leage is a rarity.

Again if it is so easy why is Schuhmacher making more money in a single year the the entire Cubs put together?

Well, in NASCAR you are supposed to make contact, and the cars are designed for it. In F1/Indy racing, the slightest contact will result in the complete destruction of your car. So they are much more ginger about it.

Indy-style racing is a series of left turns as well, using formula cars. I fail to see the difference. The preoccupation on those 2 variants is raw speed, not comparitively slow and swervy manuevering like F1 and rally. To each their own. All four are sucky suck suckness.

And Schuhmacher may make more year than the Cubs. So what? Shaquille O'neal makes more money in 2 months than Schuhmacher will in 10 lifetimes, and that's just his endorsements, not his $300 million dollar contract. Making too much money is what is WRONG with sports, and should not be encouraged. Saying that someone is better because they get paid more is pretty much nuts.

And this goes out to you, Doug: read the FAQ. Your next similar post will be a ban.

Did you miss the part where I said Schuhmacher is the highest paid athlete in the world, cause it's true. And sports is a business like all others, money is where the demand is, just like McDonalds employees don't get paid the same amount neurosurgeons do.

Prove it. Paid salary or endorsements?

He get's money from his annual contract with Ferrari and gets a cash prize for every race he wins, him winning just about everything =Mucho dinero.

And yes he has massively hugearsed endorsement deals.

So basically Shaq will make in a number of years what Mikey makes in one (Shaq's 300 mil contract is for 5 years, not counting taxes and management cuts)

SUYF pops. Maybe a game where people actually move or do something other than spit on the ground and scratch their balls would make your rocking chair fall over, but the rest of us young active minds need something worthwhile to look at. What kind of game is it when the players don't even sweat! "Look mom, I'm hitting a ball. Oh! Now it flies over there. Now my great athletic body will take me this 10meters and then I just go get the 10 000 000 check." Really hard work I see. Let's face it; baseball IS boring. I'm not a action freak but it would be nice to see the players doing something for most of the time, like in hockey or even soccer. And in hockey you won't even get bored with the constant moving when the players are actually making goals every now and then

My opinion is still that teamsports where players constantly strive to make goals and defend are the best kind of sports there is(spare mud wrestling). Ice hockey is the best example of this. Just enough action and varying games, enough goals and saves to keep it interesting. Good teamwork rewarded and individual performance is important. Me likes. Though I must hand it to baseball that it has the same element of hitting an object with just the correct amount of force and angle like in hockey. However in baseball you have a huge-*ss field where as in hockey you have to have real skill to make a goal: harmony of footwork, positioning yourself and your teammates and putting that puck in the goal.

And since we have moved onwards to motorsports, which I completely forgot and in which we Finnish own equally as much as in hockey() I must say that F1 would be somewhat ineresting to watch if that &%#&/# Ferrari with Michael in it wouldn't own everything. Yes, Ferrari is the best car and when you have a good driver in it, it wins. Now that Mika left the F1 field, my hopes are on Kimi but it seems that even though he has skill, his car doesn't go fast enough. Yeah, I'm blaming the car.

LoL this arguement reminds me a lot of the "Starcraft is better than DoD" arguements of old. Monse is a RTS man, he likes strategy and thinking at a slower pace. The world it seems, likes quick action FPS style, thinking on your feet, reflexes and strategy pulled up on the battlefield. Now anyone who has played both style of games knows that both are challenging, and which you like comes down to personal preference.

That said, 1 billion Indians cant be wrong - Cricket owns. Its just like baseball, only with an endurance element to it.

I think baseball is a cool game, but the thing is, it is all about the moments. The entire game as a whole is boring as hell, but if you look at the times when a player brings his team back from a loss with some great home run, it's exciting. Not to mention that having a favorite team makes watching the game 100000x bearable. Still, I think it's rather boring to watch (very fun to play, though).

I like football... it reminds me of... FLF. Sorry :o
