OMG! They're here already!
The monkey is using the robot arm!
Very cool stuff with a lot of potential. The fact that the monkeys learned that they didn't need the joystick or that they didn't have to move their arms to manipulate the arm is impressive. This could allow doctors to bypass the difficulty of having to replace or regenerate nerve tissue and just implant a BMI, possibly with a synthetic limb.
What do you think?

all kinds of crazy things could come out of this brain wave reading technology.
imagine it gets to the stage where it can read specific words that you think, add an ear piece and youv got a system for telepathic communication, now thats cool.
