Hlds Crashes In Ns

I was trying to install ns 1.04 (i renamed 2.0 dir), and the server crashes when it starts up. I tried reverting back to 2.0 and it still crashes. It doesnt crash in other mods. The server runs RedHat 9 on an AMD Cpu. HLDS version is 3.1.1.1D, i even reinstalled that patch and it didnt help.
Here are the last few lines before the crash:

Add "-debug" to the ./hlds_run command line to generate a debug.log to help with solving this problem

2. Make sure you unzip *without* the -a flag.
I'm guessing one or both of the above is the cause of your problem.
Oh wait... I misread that...

Are you sure it's the latest version of 2.0 (i.e. have you got the 2.01 .so installed)?
