Bah, I hate the H2. I know that you can buy normal civilian Hummers, but at least they still follow the same principle as the hummer. In my mind, the H2s will always be a glorified SUV.

    Nope, still standard.

Listen, on topic? It depends on what you want it for. Just to have an SUV?

I can't say ford is better than chevy, or vice versa. The bottom line is, some people will swear that chevies are a peice of crap, and some will swear fords are a peice of crap. Some will swear by fords, some will swear by chevies. It comes down to personal experience.

My advice? Compare both vehicles and get the most bang for your buck. Then, decide if it was a right choice. If your satisfied, great! If not, then maybe choose the other next time.

Personally I don't like SUV's. People who never go off road buy them simply for their looks, and that is dangerous (especially since they practically roll over on command). I guess they want to feel all sporty, but quite frankly it's just a matter of personal preference. You like SUV's, go for it. IIRC with american vehicles though, be careful of planned obsolecence

If you just want to go off road? Can't beat a Unimog.....

Huge potholes you can't even imagine.

And the slightest rain can cause floods.

I just thought a "foreign" SUV would be really cool, specially in school, where everyone drives Honda Civics. <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd-->
Hah, you should be driving around big potholes, and trust me, no pothole requires 2 feet of ground clearance, if it does it ain't no pothole, you got part of your road missing their buddy.

As for your "floods" any somewhat intelligent driver knows you should never drive in more than 3 inches of moving water or when you can't see teh road surface. yes puddles can be deeper than 3 inches but thats called STANDING WATER!. Cheesh, don't you people have drivers ed. over there?

As for on topic, i say neither one is a good choice, if you doing off-roading get a jeep and if your just packing the family get a mini van.

    GL with picking your car.
