Sorry but we all know SNES > Genesis
Yeah, it was the bomb. Yes, the old days of Sonic, Kid Chameleon (longest game I've ever played till the PSX), Vectorman, and other games. Those were good times, good times. Still have my genesis from way back, but I don't know if it still works.
'Megadrive' is such a better name
haha you noobs. i still have my sega master system, and it still works. now that's nostalgia... not your high-tech genesis crap

I still have my old sega genesis as well. Not the newer square one, but the old clunky rectangle one. And i still have my Sega Nomad. I'm glad i got that, since my dog chewed through the genesis adaptor wire too... when he was a puppy... now, i feel like listing off the favorite games I had...

Ah, yes.. but does your SMS have the hidden Snail Game, or is it one of the later-gen models with the 'included' game cart built into the unit?
Still have: Atari 2600, SMS, NES, Genesis (First-gen, with working first-gen SegaCD.. still trying to get a used 32X unit to complete my stack of power), SNES (with all the goodies, though I lost the SuperScope6's receiver box), GB (Gray brick ), NeoGeo Pocket, and have my eyes on a used Saturn system.
I mostly want to find the Saturn and a Sonic game, as looking back at things now, everything on the Genesis is painfully blocky. IIRC, the Saturn had a much more powerful 2D engine. Plus it had much nicer controllers.
Megadrive..... what memories...... still remember all my games (56 games in total). My first game..... started playing it..... when I was 4 years old.....
my favorites: Altered Beast Desert Strike Sonic (have all of them, even Sonic Pinball and Sonic & Knuckles) Alex Kid (the FIRST, ORIGINAL ONE) Rocket Knight Adventures Chiki Chiki Boys Comic Zone (I still think this is the hardest game ever)

I still play my sega genesis on a day-to-day basis.... I've had it for about 8 or 9 years now. I still think the sega is the best gaming console ever...I <3 sega.

Am i the only one who got the sega genesis add-on, 3d somthing? I know it starts with "3d.." but I'm too lazy to go look upstairs...
I suppose I can go look if no one knows what I'm talking about...
I loved the Mega Drive. Soviet Strike (or was it Desert Strike? I dunno) kicked ****. Then there was Street Fighter 2. I kept using the big sumo's rapid punch to push my brother to the side and kill him. He wrecked the controller because he got so mad, can't say I blame him

There was an EXTREMELY LIMITED release of games that used both the 32x and Mega CD together - so called Mega 32x titles. Specifically 5 titles. But the two systems were never merged - the Sega Saturn was a whole new kettle of fish.
Which dooms do you u guys/gals have? maybe i can set up a game..even though only 4 ppl can play
And you can get that game for PC off abandonware sites now.
It's a blast to be able to kcik the final boss' **** with regular moves, instead of the thruster, even though you don't get the optimal ending by doing it, (I guess it is possible, but VERY hard to do).
BAH I still say Shadowrun for the genesis was one of THE BEST GAMES EVER.
You had: Hacking Metal gear style Infiltration Gun Battles Spell Slinging Cyberware TOTAL FREEDOM over what jobs you want to take an where you want to go (Barring the first mission) 3 different characters Like 30 different skills An insanely large amount of stuff to do and allies to make/enemies gain Randomly generated missions 3 member parties of hired guns you could switch off on the fly
IT HAD EVERYTHING!
I tell you a modern remake combing the best elements of Uplink (Hacking Game), GTA and Morrowind would put me in a state of permanent orgasmic bliss.
On another I have the Master System with Hang-On/Safari Hunt built in. Whats more is that I have the Gear Master so I can play all the MS classics on my gamegear. Ahhh Phantasy Star, best 8 bit RPG EVER.
