The Concept Of A Sniper Rifle

<div class="IPBDescription">Brought in for NS:C?</div> Since the beginning of NS, it has been stated that there will be no sniper rifle for various reasons. I was wondering, does this still apply to NS Combat? What is the opinion of modders and the NS community? Personally, I don't know what to think because I haven't played NS:C yet, but I bet it would be lots of fun in NS:C where deathmatch skills are key.

Yes, the 'no sniper rifles' rule still applies to NS:C. For one, the maps are still tight and enclosed. There's NO place to use one. For two, zooming would still be a secondary fire mode. Which is still a big NO. For three, sniper rifles only encourage the feeling of a 'cheap kill' in pretty much any game they turn up in.

So, no. No sniper rifles, not even in NS:C. It's an alternate play mode, not another game.
