theres nothing in the current change log that mentions anything about mines.
The last time I read something about mines in a change log was before 2.0 was released, and the only thing it mentioned was an increase in mine damage by 40%, and that mines would never damage marines or their structures, ever. Now, what ever actually happened to that change, I dont know... but thats the last thing I can remember about mine changes (and obviously mines are not as I just described them.)

And i just realised something, the 1.04 hype of getting the first fade to blow the mines/fraggin bunch of armory humping marines is now up to a skulk in early game! w000t. I guess Flay wants it so marines always need to keep an eye out on the base, or spend lots of cash on turrets otherwise.
Which, I do believe I agree on. Esp. with the fact that obs will teleport all marines with distress beacon back to base.
