Info_location

<div class="IPBDescription">Bleading through all levels</div> How do i stop info_loaction bleading through all the levels in my map, as i have a few layed, with small funk_seethroughs

The info_loaction not only bleads through the funk_seethrough (as i spose would happen) but it bleads through soild world brushes

    If you mean vertically, you can´t. Info locations ignore the z axis, so you should only make them 8 units tall to keep your map size down...

    I've also found that if the info_location entity is made up of multiple brushes, it uses the furthest bounds to determine how far to specify. This caused an overlap for me, and I had to break the entity up into smaller parts.

    The area on the bottom was occupied by another info_location, but the name from the upper one was shown.

    Fortunately, info_location does not count towards your entity limit, so feel free to split them up as much as neccessary to get it exactly how you want (just be wary of your bsp file getting larger and larger as you pile in more ents...)

    yeah what Kage says is whats hapening to me

    o well, i might have to mess around and a put a few smaller indervidual info_loactions in my cave, so that they don't blead through to the road or bunkers under it

    The bsp size is only 400 KB Bigger (b4 opt_plnz) and has alot of large info_loactions in it
