<div class="IPBDescription">The one good thing about florida...</div> <a href='http://www.fullsail.com' target='_blank'>Fullsail</a> is only 2 hours from me, if you don't, it is a school of multimedia and design. They have programs for everything from game development, to film, to web design, to animation. Alot of people who do special FX in the movie & game industry go there, and by some twisted chance of fate its in Florida of all places.

I was thinking of going, it seems alot more relaxed and suited to my style of working then USF. In fact, I called them today, and I got a live voice answering any questions I had about the place. I tried calling USF and they wouldnt give me the time of day until I enrolled.

Has anyone ever gone there or know any info about tuition? My friend was planning on trying to go there, and his friend has already went, he said it was something like $30k a <b>year</b>. Then I read a thread on the Penny Arcade forums about it, and some people who went there said it wasnt all that great.

There was a website dissing FullSail called FullSailSucks.com
It got taken down fro domain squatting (lame). Apparently is really sucks, and is a pretty bad place. You're better off going to a full 4 year place.

I've never been there or done anythign there, but apparently is has kinda a crappy reputation?

my friend goes to fullsail, and he says it kicks ****. He showed me lots of his 3d art work and games he made just in the first year. He never even tried c++ or maya and now he knows them really well. I think he's almost done with his 13 month session....If you want, I could get his MS Messenger name and you could ask him all the questions you want...

I would have to sign up for MSN Messenger, but its better then blindly paying $50k dollars and not knowing whats going to happen <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> I also found www.fullsailsucks.com which is giving me 2nd thoughts.

I know other then SAE there are no 'media' colleges in Florida, the only thing about Fullsail is that the credits don't count for a 4 year college and they are expensive as hell. Of course, at least I would be learning 3DSM and Maya and such, which I am 100% certain I won't learn at USF.
