Can you say something already about what you are planning to include in the next version, which you didn´t have time to do in this version? Do you have plans for other types of aliens?

    As far as I know (but this is just me) flamethrower will probably be in the next version (stc), and I don't know about any new aliens (stc)

    Flamethrowers sound good, I bet they will add more objectives for maps, marine vs marine would be nice too.

    I don't think I'd use normal hand grenades for a mod like this, just doesn't seem right.  Digz, what's this about nets, cause it looks like I missed something...

    Companies do plan ahead. This is a mod, and you never know how much you will put into the next release, but go ahead and speculate away! Heck, I have a few ideas, but not much.

    Actually, in my opinion, grenades WOULD fit good in NS, but none of you guys can really vouch for that because you havn't played it, but eh, i hope.  I agree with comprox completely, also.

    Hopefully will add a few new weapons, a few new features, something along those lines, NS already looks like its balanced nicely, don't want to try and add a Laser or something annoying that stuffs all that up, but a flamethrower would do nicely

    To my knowledge, a flamethrower will only be added when Flayra is able to get volumetric flames, ie. if you use it in a area with alot of space the flames will spread out but not go very far forward, but if you use it in a vent the flames will shoot a good distance along the vent.

    Once Flayra gets that working i think he might also make the explosions from grenades and stuff volumetric.

    I know for a fact that flay is trying to make one hell of a flamethrower, so don't expect it to come quick.

    i think nets would fit in ns, you know throw a net over a lvl 1 or 2, it gets tangled and immobilized for a few seconds giving a marine time to unload his weapon or run like the wind.

    The laser on the marines head will be more like a targetting system I'd imagine.  If you read the FAQ's then it says that NS will NOT get an Laser weapon, EVER.  It dosent fit NS at all.
