Lets just use the good'ol term for explaining anything to anyone: Magic
If brig wants his bullets to be pulled from the mag to the fireing chamber to be fired, let him. It is his gun after all. Besides, maybe it's even electronically fired like the gun on the Apache helicopter.
[edit] Doh! I forgot to mention the model! Looking excelent as usual brig, but I bet it will be even better modeled and skinned. [/Edit]
Who cares? Asthetics should come before realism, except for logical things, like why the hell would you have a scope on a heavy machine gun *cough* Flint *cough* <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->
Having said that, some heat shielding and a M60 style carry handle would be neat.

Im very well aware of the simple mechanics of firearms, Ya know, Being in the Military and all... we kinda trained for this sorta thing.
You, however, are under the impression that Firearms can only work one way. And this is so wrong it doesnt even begin to be funny. So, allow me to *enlighten* you.
This design works very similar to say, an M60 GPMG, since thats your basic generic Mchinegun. Now, When bullets enter the gun, they are not in the firing chamber, they are above and aftward of it. Basically, they are just sitting in the magazine. Now, in a standard straight assembly rifle, the bolt would be located behind the magazine. However, in this particular design, it is in forward and underneath it. in order to get the cartridges from the magazine to the firing chamber, there is a Loader claw. If you know anything about the operation of larger weapons, this is a very familiar device. Basically, It reciprocates much like a bolt would, only it is located forward of the magazine well. Its purpose is to PULL *not push* the shell into the chamber, where it is then aligned with the firing pin and barrel, and can be fired. <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd--> rabbity just got owned right there
