<div class="IPBDescription">Rehash of my childhood</div> I have found<a href='http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/teenagemutantninjaturtles/downloads.html' target='_blank'> bliss!</a> In the new TMNT game demo. Alas, you can only be Leonardo...but the cell shading and subtlties of the game make me yern for a copy. I <b>will</b> be picking this up very soon, probably right when I get Empires.
I spent much of my childhood being drawn in by video games. School nights were spent honing my skills at games like Contra, Mario Brothers and Battletoads (<i>that's right, Contra comes before Mario in my books</i>). But the weekends were reserved for the holy grail that was the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Pop and pizza filled saturday nights in my basement with my chums all playing as our favorite turtles. We played through 2 TMNT games every weekend, always playing as our favorite characters (I was always Michaelangelo). It has a special place in my heart that I had nearly forgotten untill browsing gamespot and stumbling upon this demo.
I hope some of you will enjoy it as much as I did :-D

My thoughts exactly. Sadly, my computer can't really handle it. *Sighs*
Anyway, I remeber the glory days of TMNT on my NES. Sometimes it was frustrating though.

I just got done playing it.
HOLY CRAP THIS GAME ROCKS!!!!!!!!!
This game is potentially better than the original TMNT Arcade game. Its that friggin good. Hell its the first 3D game I've ever seen to successfully capture the spirit of the old 2d sidescrolling fighters. And the cell shading, man oh man it looks good. You definately gotta get this demo if you were a turtle fan back when you were a kid (or if you still are)!
I hope the full version has TCP/IP support. If it does, mmmm that'd be sexy.
Is there a console version coming out? (Maybe have like 3 player support?) If so, I'll probably get that version. Mega mega fun...

I ALSO hope you can team up with people via the internet to play 2 player, that would be SICK!
My friend has a TMNT Arcade cabinet at his house, we play it nearly every chance we can get... rawr.
Doom, if im correct, didn't you get the Gamespot E3 DVD's? You can watch loads of the videos from it on there...
Dear god....i hope this is the game I'm thinking about.... <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->
Nope, I thought about it but didn't ever follow through. Like a lot of things I think about...
Donatello
You obviously don't like him too much. :P
go tmnt!
btw it was called teenage mutant hero turtles in the uk..kinda funny ;p
PS: It'll only display 99, but it keeps going.
Four words, The Big Bad Boot.
On a side note, there's no steamrollers. I am sad!
Since the primary target audience is 8 year olds and not us nostalgic adults, yeah, its easy.
Plus, only 2 players are supported.
WHY CAN'T THEY EVER MAKE GOOD BEATEMUPS?! WHY?!
