New Game Shaded Out

That is pretty much it. I have CS Retail, which I upgraded to v1.5.
NS screen comes up fine, but the new game is shaded out. Any help?

I did try and look through the forums but didn't see anything.

Ummmm...

You may just want to delete this thread all together, as I feel fairly dumb.

I never clicked on multiplayer, not sure what I was thinking.
