Okie, i have a gforce mx440. My copy won't let me put all the graphics on high. only the shaders and the other thing wont work. So can anybody tell me how i can enable them?     If it's shaded out then that means your Video Card doesn't support those options.

    To add a bit more detail, i presume the shaders you're referring to are DX9's new 2.0 shaders, which only the newest cards support.

    Also, if you have a gf4 mx, i don't think it can handle running Halo in full detail, not unless you've got a beast of a processor beneath it.

    Even the processer would't help. Try adding -use11 to your target line

    Ive heard conflicting report as to whether use11 or useff gives better fps, I suggest using 1.1 shaders as that makes everything look better.

    I used to do -use11. I got 5-6 FPS on the opening level of the Ringworld.
    I switched to -useff last night, 15-30 FPS same level.

    Is -use11 or -use44 supposed to be in the command line? If it is do I need to add the console first? like \Microsoft Games\Halo\halo.exe" -console?

    No... just add it to the end of the Target Line in the Icon.

    So...

    ...\Microsoft Games\Halo\halo.exe" -useX
