Torn

rediscovering great games
My isometric loving self is torn!
I've recently rediscovered Impressions Games fantastic city-building series and have been hooked on Zeus and Emperor for the last month or so. It's detracted me greatly from my NS time...though I'm sure I'll be back with a vengeance soon enough. All things return to NS, right?
What games have you guys been playing besides Natural Selection?

Thou haven't played RTS games until you've played that one. Get the expansion pack too: The Moon Project.
Actually I've noticed that both Earth 2150 and total annihilation were WAY ahead of their times. Both used real 3D terrain and 3d units. Earth 2150 you could pan the camera around any way you wanted, a la Homeworld.

If only I knew where to buy it today....Best Buy doesn't exactly sell 3 year old games...it's probably more than 3 actually...I remember you could turn your units lights off and run dark into the enemey base at night and other cool tactics (granted that'd be a multiplayer vs humans tactic...).
Civilization 2...if only the computer didn't blatantly cheat so bad. Civilization 3 is okay, but once you get to modern times it goes a lot slower....takes a lot of RAM eventually (at least with a full map and all comp player still alive...what happened to hot-seat?)
Rise of Nations!!!!! Buy it...buy it now...NOWWWWW....or wait 'til the price drops...but get it nonetheless.
Carnivores 2 can be fun for 10-20 minutes at a time every week...or month or something. That game needs a machine gun....just for the heck of it...

Yeah I still have this game! I remember playing it way back in the day...your structures fell out of the sky. I just might have to reinstall that thing.
