I like how you don't have to worry about frags and how it's so team oriented and really fun. Once you get past the learning curve and figure out how to decifer the scrambled menus, it's great!

Completely originial, and it looks nice. Totally different from any other HL mod I played. If valve supported it, it would probably be more popular than TFC and DOD. (and a hell of a lot better than cs!)

Once you get over the frequent crashing, it's actually qute fun.

EDIT: By "Scrambled Menus" I'm assuming you're using steam. I suggest leaving this until the last possible moment, as the 2.1 patch will fix all your problems. That, and I just hate steam.

Frequent crashing? WTH?

go back to tech help and give us full system specs and a FULL descriptinon of the crashes (ie, is it a blue scrn of death(bsod), a crash to deskttop(ctd), does it give you an error mesage? where is said msg? what does it say? etc)

other then that, yes ns does roxor, and again wealcome to the forums

Unfortunately, v2.1 does not currently fix the right-click menu issues... however it DOES fix a number of font problems, and crash errors. The right-click menus are rumored to have a fix in an upcoming HL patch, as it was the 1.1.2.0 patch, not Steam, that messed them up.

Everyone should keep using WON, till everything is peachy keen with Steam. Don't settle for less. Remember, valve wants to please you, not the other way around.

If Valve's patch isn't available by the time of the NS 2.1 release we'll probably implement a work-around.

Note that you can only get 1120 from steam, so if you're playing non-steamed your HL won't be patched, so you won't get the menu bug when playing on WON servers.
