<div class="IPBDescription">I dont like it much...do you?</div> I recently installed steam on my PC, it seemed quite good with its friend list and set up and options..until i tried to play NS. It only showed 5 servers and they didnt work, i know steam is new and it has a long way to go but when i went to play uninstall it something bad had happened...all of my Half-Life files were messed up...they had gone! (Shock-Horror) I then realised what i had done....they had been converted to steam and moved.... so in a crazed attempt to play NS i deleted everything and re-installed Half-Life and NS. My old WON setup now works but i just felt that it wasnt good enough to play on with NS and it didnt have enough mod support. I think that Steam should be more fine tuned to deal with messed up options on peoples computers and the Many mods that have been created.

If you didnt understand any of what i have just said or cannot be bothered to read it then hear this: if you install steam, Be prepared.....Be very Prepared.

We all know about NS' Steam problems. That's one of the reason there are so few servers. 2.1 is the official Steam version of NS, and it will supposedly be Steam-Only.

If you have issues with Steam, please take it to the www.steampowered.com forums.

There is a beta Steam NS installer available in the Public Beta forum.

2.1 will fix any Steam compatibilities issues and will *not* be designed to work with WON HL.
