[EDIT]Not to great, might not have even been a deadly shark. Grabbing it by the tail in shallow water and gutting on the beach? Great...[/EDIT]

1 lb = 454g
454g = .000454 kg
660*.00454 = 2.994 kg?
I dunno if thats right, I'm an ignorant american who doesn't know kilograms.
Or... or perhaps three kilograms.
btw back to on topic, what kind of shark was it? a mako, nurse, great white, etc? this reminds me of the time a guy dragged a fat kid with a shark fin on the beach and beat him to almost death until he realized it wasnt a shark
If you can get owned by a man in water, something you are supposed to dominate shark, then you deserve to die.
GG Iceman, you pwn.
He dragged the shark out of the water and killed it with his knife....
Basically the hard part was just catching the tail then dragging in onto the shore, he didn't even have to gut the shark since it would already die in a few seconds. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->
Stabbing a shark out of water is pretty much like shooting a guy just after he got the lethal injection.
The title is very misleading, there was no actual combat.
Edit: Ok I realise that isn't what I said in my previous post. So yeah, running towards a shark is stupid. But not in this situation.
He didn't swim towards the shark, he grabbed the tail.
600 pounds isn't much in water.
Plus the shark was in <b>very shallow</b> water, it was probably dying anyway (sick, tired, lost, whatever).
You cynical sods
i reckon bout 300 kg be bout right, or maybe bit less, mustve been pretty bulky shark to be 300kg i reckon.. and big
hehe interesting all the same
Remember AvP2?
Constantly in that game, I kept telling myself as a Marine, "There's a fine line between bravery and stupidity..."

Port Jackson sharks are about the size of a small dog <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
