Good Computer Chair?

The Bane of TenSix
I have gone through, in about 4 years, 4 different chairs. Every one I get simply falls apart due to the screws wearing down or simply ripping themselves out of the wood. I had a leather chair I had been using for awhile, I lean back in it one day and I hear *POP* as the 2 screws holding one side of the chair backing rip themselves and their anchors out of the wood. The chair im sitting in now, I have duct taped, glued, and drilled together.

So does anyone have suggestions for a chair that won't crumble apart? Maybe one welded from a platinum and steel composite? Oh yes, cash == sparse.

Cash should never be too sparse to get a swivel chair. Remember, rolls mean you can take it anywhere, so it saves you buying other chairs.

ive just got a metal frame with some padding. the fabric is ripped at the corners but it works.

i wouldnt want a roller chair because i may break my back. (my chair is on a 'box' about 3ft high, and my computer sits in the top shelf of a cupboard.) falling off would be hazardous to my health

Save your money for a Corld Keyboard, cordless mouse and just play from the couch or bed.

Who needs a chair when you can lay down!

Ok, buy some bricks, build them into a seat formation in front of the PC, buy a dovay cover place it on the bricks.

Vola a seat that wont fall apart. (use a metal poll(s) throught the bricks to hold it together).

That's a Herman Miller chair. Funny how they don't mention that. I know because I do CAD and design work for HMI. Which means I have the solution for this problem Begin shameless plug.

My college gives us cheapo plastic chairs. Probably 10-15$. Then just buy a pillow.

I love my chair. Its my mom's Boss's old chair. I think it was originally made in like the late 80's, but its still holding together. Its one of those big expensive Executive/CEO type chairs. Sure it looks like crap (literally, poop brown in color), but its comfy and stable. I will be mighty upset when this chair has to go...

Also my chair at work is quite comfy, though it isn't as big as this one is.
