Hello Subnauts!
We’re writing to you today to let you know that we have made the difficult decision to close the Unknown Worlds forums.
We want to thank you all for your support here in reporting bugs, and providing feedback on both Subnautica and Below Zero, during the course of Early Access and beyond.
Your support remains, as always, incredibly important and valuable to us, and with that in mind, we would like to invite you to continue to interact with us and the wider community on some of our more active platforms, especially
our official Discord
.
All of the content on the forums will remain available in read-only mode, but it will no longer be possible to create new topics or posts as of June 21st 2021.
We hope to welcome you all on our Discord and
other community platforms very soon
.
Keep diving,
Unknown Worlds Team.

you can weld doors shut so aliens cant get by, and you can weld doors open so your fellow marines can get by.

But its not vice-versa. Aka, you can't weld a door shut then open, over and over. Just a one shot deal. I think. STC.

The mapper can set that data... Can determine:
How much damage the weld takes when placed.
How much time it takes to weld a door shut.
And,, of course, which doors are weldable in the first place.

I believe that is the case, the mapper can get it to act like a func_breakable once it has been welded shut.

Right, i think the way it works, is that once a weld is broken (If possible)... it resets and is re-weldable... I think...
