Wow been a year already, I remember when I first came here I'm like "This game is gonna be stupid" *downloads* about an hour later I was hooked.

i still remember how i knew about ns, i was bored of bf 1942 so i wanted to dl a mod for hl when i stumbled into NS

i thought when i read the description"sounds ok"

i got hooked since then since1.04 and i still miss ns_Nancy

To those who say they'll buy any game with our names on it... I've been thinking of an MMO "Paper, Scissors, Stone" - It's got drama, it's got strategy and reflex skill.. I think it'll be a winnar!

I remember I was surfing <a href='http://www.moddb.com' target='_blank'>ModDB</a> and NS had just won an award for being the best new game of the year or something and I thought... Ok maybe I'll check it out.

I DLed it (this was about 11 months ago because it was 1.1) and started to play. I fell in love with it, but the amount of bugs at the time made me leave. I came back by chance in 1.4 around April and got hooked, from the second I got back into the game, playing my first game back in ns_bast.
I fell in love with ns_nancy and almost cryed when 2.0 came out without it.

I have been spening too much time in the forums, time that should have been spent working!
I dream about this game at night and can't wait to get home and play it!
I use to spend 12 hours a day playing when I had days off.

I have made lots of friends, and love the community.
I remember when Flayra made a post about helping out a popular server with the const money I sent away on the spot. I have since donated 3 more times (for me) and I love the constellation!

I joined a small web site team that was just starting off (commchair) now I co run it. I have been slacking off though... I need to update the site!

This game has changed my life and I find my self making jokes at work that no one but a NSer would get. (Lork on the clorf).

I always thank you Flayra and DEVs and I thank you again!
I hate you just as much sometimes due to this addictive game.

Hey, as long as you guys keep playing, we'll keep making. This thread has given me a second wind to polish up 2.1 and get it ready ASAP!

Thanks guys, I'm been incredible for us to see people actually figure out how to play NS, create fan fiction, fan artwork, songs, custom maps, fan-sites, plug-ins, the list goes go on and on. We'd be nowhere without our community, and without the forum moderators and IRC ops that keep things running on a day-to-day basis around here.

It's been a tough run. I mean, Flayra's basically an empty figurehead for NS-- we flog him out to the public every now and then, when we need to get you simpering jackas-- I mean, you loyal fans excited about something.

Squeal is a total Prima Donna. Now he's got a rider that demands his own trailer, buffet, and 'personal assistant' for when he (rarely) works. Come to think of it, that's more or less how we got Monse on board.

I haven't seen Def since he decided to focus on his singing career. Wonder how that's going.

And the other lollygaggers and jackanapes have more or less held this production up since day one. You all should get down on your hands and knees and thank me for moving this project forward, in spite of all these useless anchors dragging me down.

So, from the bottom of my heart: Kneel Down and Worship Me
