Loading Ns Through Steam

<div class="IPBDescription">Lo! The abomination affecteth mapping!</div> Right. Simple (I hope) question.

How on earth do you get NS to load through steam? My map compiles perfectly, but I cannot seem to pass flags to Steam.

Game Executable:
E:\Program Files\Steam\Steam.exe

Parameters (Advanced Compile)
-applaunch 70 -game nsp +map $file

Problem: Steam launches OK, then Half-Life launches (not NS). I can't even tell if it's trying to load the map.

Removing map parameter still causes Steam to load HL as opposed to NS.

NB: I am using the 2.1 beta to get some NS:C mapping in, so that's why it's nsp not just ns.

never mind I just saw what you wrote and it's the same thing. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

I dunno where that 70 comes from, but it might be giving the NS beta a different number, so you may want to right click on it in the 'third party games' section and see what number it comes up with.

    nope.

If I create a shortcut to it on the desktop I get:
    "E:\Program Files\Steam\Steam.exe" -applaunch 70 -game nsp

however, this does not load NS (which has it's own background, icons etc.) instead it loads up standard HL, which to me suggests a big steam bug...
