<div class="IPBDescription">Game sounds</div>I watched a video of NS that i got off of fileplanet and I have some issues with the sounds of the game.... Well, most of them are ripped off of StarCraft.. i been playing Starcraft for a while and the "Go Go Go" and evolution complete sounds are right out of the game.. I wanted to know if original sound files will be put in for the release, or if the SC soundfiles are what was planned to be used.... I dont mind it too much, its just i dont wanna be reminded of SC all the time :/

actually, if it's the video I'm thinking of, the onlything is MAY be good for is the fact that it shows you that you can issue wayspoints and that the ingame menu is branched off like a tree. <b>everything</b> else in that video is placeholder, including textures in the level, all models, sounds, sprites, the level itself, etc. etc.

I mean its obvious that SC inspired some of the game. I was just wondering if the sounds would stand or not thats all... Ever heared of <a href="http://www.unreal-command.com/" target="_blank">Unreal Tournament 2003?</a> How about <a href="http://www.s2games.com/downloads.html" target="_blank">Savage?</a> Taken a look at the <a href="http://www.gamespy.com/articles/august02/quakecon2002/" target="_blank">Quakecon screenshots of singleplayer Doom 3?</a> How about the specs in <a href="http://planetfortress.com" target="_blank">Team Fortress Classic 2?</a> I think it is safe to assume that NS is the next big thing and everyone is rushing to keep up.

3. I've played 70-90 mods in my time, I even MAKE mods and I can't be a playtester, Not that any of that counts. You need to have been with the forumns for a long time and made INSIGHTFUL posts, so post count doesnt mean anything. Well, That or you were one of those lucky n00b ######## who got randomly picked to PT <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->.
Anyways, none of this was meant to be mean, just the way the world goes round... or.... somthing....
By the way... I was playing Desert Crisis 2 days ago and a guy in the game said he was a PT for NS and was talkin bout he had the beta version... I think he might have handed it out to some people.. I dont know. It seemed that way :/
