I need some help with those uhmm textures..

<div class="IPBDescription">Come in here so i can explain. =)</div>Ok i need some help with the Black textures they lets say have a light in the same postition as a texture u would use it on
such as R25_CONTROLS5B for R25_CONTROLS5.
Well i't abvious that these textures are used in the ns maps but I have never seen these before and i woul like to know how to use them can anyone help me?

Oh and sorry for posting in the Mapping Forum for all u who care i couldn't find any one that would fit the topic for this post.

    The mapping forum is a good place for it.

    There was a thread a long time ago that told how to use these...

    Bah.  I can't find it now.  It might have even been way back on the old UBB forums.

    Anyway, basically, you just create a 1 unit thick func_illusionary that covers the surface of the non-blacked out textured surface, and texture it with black (or better yet, the "null" texture) except on the face parallel to the surface below.  Then just make the func_illusionary rendermode additive.
