well, i thought that Eclipse, Caged, Romana, Nancy, Nothing, etc... all have been in the latest playtest, but dev team has to decide which are the maps that will release with V1.0 . Do wut they do, i know they wont fail us, so dont worry about it.
Since the mapping deadline has passed (almost two months ago, wow...), there unfortunately won't be any surprise entries. Any map that's going to be packaged with NS has already been submitted, and you've probably seen screenshots of all of them. However, the question is, which of these maps are going to be selected?
Who says everyone submitting his map has also displayed it in the forums? MonsE once said he had some people using SHODAN but not making a great hubub about their work.
The descision process is be simple: The devs will all gather in a room full of sharp pointy objects, and the person that comes out then decides which maps should be included. Mappers, try to become good friends with MonsE!
Lol, There goes MonsE trying to take over another spaceship with his evil AI counterpart again
Ginger: plese, PLEASE try to do research before asking questions that everyone else knows the answer to. Thats SHODAN MonsE's Evil AI/ s00per computer that could compileany NS map faster than you can blink. It's a service MonsE set up for mappers with really big maps that would usually take longer to compile on lesser machines than SHODAN. w00t.

Just for the record, one of the versions of Eniant took SHODAN 2 hours and about 30 minutes to compile.

Many more will probably be included.
