Steam Validation Error

Maybe i missed when reading thru the "webbed" postings but I just installed NS into Steam and now i try starting it and get a Steam Validation Error when i try to enter a server. I can play my other games via steam no problem (mostly CS)

    Is this one server or many?
    Is this a hlds on your computer?
    Have you tried playing right after you reboot?
    What operating system?
    What is the exact error?
