More from DOOM.
Complete DOOM music list.

Mouth For War is my favorite :E

MASTER DOOM MUSIC LIST! WHEEEEEEEE!

DOOM I:
E1M1: Metallica - No Remorse
E1M4: Pantera - Rise
E2M1: AC/DC - Big Gun
E2M2: Metallica - The Call of Ktulu
E2M3: Pantera - Regular People
E2M9: Pantera - Mouth For War
E3M3: Slayer - Behind The Crooked Cross
E3M8: Slayer - Silent Scream

DOOM II:
E1M7: Slayer - South Of Heaven
E1M10: Black Sabbath - After All (The Dead)
E1M18: Pantera - This Love
E1M23: Alice In Chains - Bones
E1M25: Alice In Chains - Angry Chair

I don't know how valid one or two of the Doom 1 songs are, as I finished up this list using this site. So as far as I know, this is the complete list.

You know I'd like a list of all the songs in that Theif.mp3 you have there. :P

And thanks for this newest one. :)

I can't remember the rest, but I have written them down as I listen to them.
I think I will edit my first post to use it as a master list. And if anyone else hears one that's used in DOOM, let me know and I'll update the list. There's at least 20 songs used in DOOM.

Download this mp3 and listen to it. It plays a clip from DOOM 1 or 2, then plays the came clip played by the original band who came up with the song. The point of the thing, as the filename might lead the more enlightened of you to believe, is that Bobby Prince, the composer for the DOOM music, simply plagerized a great deal when doing the DOOM 1 and 2 soundtracks.

    Hm...

Weeeel... I can't say I can't hear any resemblance. It's closer to rephrasing the wording of your original source then blatantly plaigerising it...

But I have to say, it'd be very cool if they actually got these bands in to re-do the soundtrack for Doom 3

Creatures for a While by 311 sounds remarkably like this one DOOM level. The first part has this part that sounds a bit like it, but when you get to about 30 seconds, it sounds practically exunctly like it. I'm sure DOOManiac could recognize it

If I recall correctly the composer based the music on what the development team listened too!

    E1M18: Pantera - This Love

I really loved that song for that doom map.

I'm downloading the mp3 because it sounds very similar.

If I recall, that Doom2 map was a very "surprise!" type of map.

Hey DoomManiac. Remember the map "Gotcha"? Loved that one..
