ok, the story of how i found the Zerostrung....


i was wandering around the <a href='http://www.cgtalk.com' target='_blank'>CGtalk</a> forums, and somehow made it to a <a href='http://my3blk.deviantart.com/' target='_blank'>Deviant Art Users's Profile</a> i then looked around and found... <a href='http://www.deviantart.com/view/334442/' target='_blank'>This Image</a>

and then i looked around the forums, because i know brigadeir wolf was looking for names, and i saw a few good ones in there, so i went in all sneakily and all, and stole onf Sid recommended <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> thanks sid/brig

from the two above sources, i present an hour and a half's worth of work... the Zerostrung....

    the grip and trigger guard could do more work, other than that its an okay model i guess, just dont like the gun, its ugly :o

    Agreed, grip & trigger guard need work; I also think the clip would look better if it curved as the original concept. Also, take some time and work on your smoothing groups; you can clean this up a lot with some careful work there.

    With a good skin, this could be a very cool-looking gun. (:

    I think in the future, that guy should use a ruler when drawing <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Given the awkward position of the frontal trigger, I'd do a double trigger on the main grip, kind of like the Morita.

    I think this has potential, deffenatly futuristic, and very origional (it ought to be if its from those guys)

    good art, but badly modeled imho.
    The gun has a lot more straight lines then your model shows, cuz right now, it looks like a bunch of cylinders which were twisted and extruded all around.
    Also, try and change the smooth groups for the different parts of the model.
    Look at the art pic again and see the different shades in colors. Those different shades need to have their own smoother groups. It breaks up your model a lot more which is good.

    Also, be careful near the trigger area. Don't make it too thin or it will look too fragile.
    And redo the trigger guard with boxes, not cylinders.

    I dunno. It doesn't look that good, just plainly....I probably wouldn't like the concept anyway, it just doesn't seem like my style. Then again, it ain't made for me.
