my character had a +20 (I think at least) I wanted to be good at computers but well rounded, so I put a lot into engineering, perhaps engineering won't be so great as an AI, maybe I should reqork my stats for this character... what do you think xect?

Well Gwahir. This game isn't likely to continue for much longer anyway, we're getting close to the end of the story, so it won't really matter much. I'm still figuring out what to do afterwards, because it seems to me the NS universe is running out of roleplaying opportunities, too straight and railroading for my liking.
Welding open the vent, you enter and begin moving upwards. You quickly realize, though, that the heavy armors won't be able to crawl up those vents, so you'll have to let this go if you want to use the vents.

well, you could always do PvP now that there are khraa. or you can make new opportunities. i think the hardest part of being a DM is remaining creative, and you've used more of your creative juces then the rest of us combined. do you want to keep on DMing... or maybe your going to retire to the old DM's home
I don't like PvP. While it does produce plenty of battle, it gives little in the way of roleplaying. And remaining creative is a good thing, but running the game in a setting that is, by definition, based upon battle, and only battle (after all, the NS universe wasn't really designed for roleplaying ), can make it hard to be creative sometimes. So, while I'll certainly continue to run games, I'm considering switching to another setting than the frontiersman one, one that allows me to keep the game changing and progressing.
Lol, sweet, we went from everyone outside the vent to everyone inside and crawling, gogo Xect Character jacking ! *ditches his Heavy Armor in a side vent, hanging onto my welder and Shotgun* "Well, onwards and upwards..." *Continues down the vent*
perfectly allowable I'd say, I mean, come on. This group will sit outside a welded vent and discuss whether or not to go in, not exactly very marine like.
hey, after ditching our HA are we back to Light armor, or just wearing clothes and such? and do we still have helmets etc? just have to ask, lol, wonder how the bionic legs look, probaly really weird .
*looks on as people start ditching their HA in the vents* "Ugh...I'd bet it's the shoulder pads. Well, no point in going up there in only LA. Too many Oni. Maybe we should take the elevator like someone suggested earlier."
