Savage is NOT the first game of its kind, and the gameplay is an exact clone of NS. If I was flayra I would be ****, I would at least make them remove that line from the promo or acknowledge NS if they are going to claim theur game is the first.

This has been discussed to death already. While the Savage team isn't very commendable (they lie basically) they still have made a good, original game. May I point to search at the bottom of the main forum page, use next time you're gonna make a topic to make sure it hasn't already been discussed alot, especially touchy ones like this.

Sorry if the thread is ban worthy, I read here all the time and never saw one similar to this. But if they are being deleted, then that would explain it:)

When I first played NS I had never seen or even heard of a similar gameplay model before. Now, years after the initial release of NS, savage is claiming that the fps/rts combo is their creation. I find that a little unsettling, even if NS is "just" a mod. (which happens to be the best game ever <3)

<li>Neither NS nor Savage invented the FPS / RTS hybrid.
<li>The differences are so drastic nobody is in a place to sue anyone.

I would have written an answer for this lockpost, but I see our fellow forumgoers have covered most of what I would've said anyway. <span style='color:orange'>*Locked*</span>. Not ban-worthy, but I recommend you use the search function before writing posts like the one that started this thread (it was rather inflammatory towards Savage, and we've got to give them respect if we expect them to feel the same way for us.)
