<div class="IPBDescription">or just my ***** computer?</div> these have been happeneing alot to me lately, it seems i get pic #1 whenever i get a GL or when i first spawn, it does work but it plays no animation or sound

    This might just need a reinstallation of NS. I can't say I've ever seen this come up as a "bug" in game.

    And with this one, ive noticed many people get this problem also, right now im a fade and my blink plays the umbra sound and shoots umbra, my welder shot oc spikes and made the OC attack noise, my leap made the devour sound, stomp shot acid rocket with the sound, and scid rocket shot bile bomb instead, its just messed up animations and sound because me in view of other players it plays the right animation and sound.

    I've actually had that happen many times for me before including on the alien side, where my skulk teeth animations/sounds won't play but it'll still register as a hit, but I don't know what causes it. I find that if you drop the pistol and pick it back up, everything works out ok, though.

    Diablus, I'd recommend a fresh install of NS, possibly of HL in its entirety. I had something similar happen during 1.04 with babblers being all messed up as a gorge and I had to reinstall to fix that. Even if it is a seperate problem, I don't think a reinstall would hurt at this point as it sounds like just about every weapon in your game is acting up.

    I beleve the redded out wep/no anims or sounds is a bug, and I beleve if you do drop+pickup whatever you can fix it.
    As for the abilities shooting out stuff from others, or making other sounds, that's a Steam thing, screws up shell ejection in lot of games.

    I have this happening to me all the time. It comes up usually when I join a game, but the problem disappears once a new round starts, so I don't plan to reinstall HL for a small quibble.

    yea if i die or the game ends i come back and everythings fine, the cause is most likely steam

    It happens in 2.01 sometimes. It happening is a random thing, and not just steam. The whole "spawning with weapons that don't appear to be working but actually are" anyways, not sure about the fade shooting umbra thing.

    I originally had the fade drone, but it made them 100% impossible to see in the dark... I wish flayra would reskin the fade so it could hide easier.

    If I remember correctly, this has nothing to do with your computer or install, but with the server your playing on. I can't remember what version it is, but and older version of Adminmod was causing these problems to happen.

    its just a server with weird server side mods, TRUST ME, ive played on that server, i was like WTH then i realized it was server side,
