Help On Setting Ns To Steam

<div class="IPBDescription">Installed NS in CSr folder</div> Well i have the retail version of counter strike so i decided to try and install NS on the CS retail folder, it worked fine but now i downloaded steam (with cache files) and i run it, then i hit the cs game and it says it needs to copy the files to the steam folder, ok now it says i have a mod installed (NS) and if i want to copy it too, to the steam folder, i say yes, then i run steam again and try to run NS but it starts runnig Half-life wich i didn't had installed, obviaslly i get a error and i cannot play NS with steam. IS there any thing i can do?

the only NS server on steam are the beta 2.1 ones.
You can't play NS 2.0 on steam actually.

VERY incorrect.
Its very possible to play on steam bud. Why not try installing to your 'Half-Life' folder, then actually searching for games? Cause I can sure as hell play on those servers.
Even worse is that you can choose SP as well, and well....what happens if you clicked on it accidentaly?
And 3rd party games go into Steam's Half-Life folder, not CSr
