It was on NS_nothing (or Tanith?), and my entire base was destroyed, and me being the sole survivor. I stood in red room next to a tfac, accompanied by a single seige cannon, wondering how I should die.
So, I rode out to Via with my Jp/Hmg, and managed to get on top of the hive. Surprisingingly the seige's blasts kept killing anything that got too close to the hive and normally you couldn't even get on top of the hive. I unloaded my entire hmg clip, and knifed it to death (it had like one dc).
Probably in 1.04 on ns_nancy, our team (marines) were dominant and over the course of the game thanks to early mt i racked up 40 or so kills without a single death, i even got called a hax which is always good.
I think the unpretictability of the game (and my aim) is its best point.
The number of times i've managed to kill skulk upon skulk as they rush around a corner (especially when you get that thwackackack sound when all your bullets hit) and then being decimated by a lone skulk while having a shotgun.
Or marching into a hive on your own with ha/sg and supressing their team only to be confronted by a cloaked skulk on the way out and somehow lose the ability to aim.
The best moments i think are always last stands wether it's hiding in a vent waiting for the aliens to track you down after somehow escaping past the onos and fades. or fending off wave after wave of skulks and fades knowing that any second you'll hear the stomp + swallow sound of an incoming onos.

The map was ns_tanith and I was a rine and I spawned in at what appeared to be the end of the game. We had our base in the Satilite com hive, and this gave us a huge advantage. But we were constantly being rushed by onis and skulks. We had one reznode, the aliens 9, and were constantly throwing onos at us. We had been saving up for motion and amazingly the team was half HA. One of the LAs discovred that they were sending 7 oni at us, and so we all got up far away from the doors and pumped HMG and GL rounds into them, one guy actually managed to kill 3, after that rush they were desprate and tried skulk rushes, and when that failed we moved out and sieged chemical transport, and after that we took reactor, and they were finished. 1 rez node vs 9 and we manage to get out of there alive. There was great teamwork in this game, no one wanted to see anyone else die, and I managed to save (and was saved) from rampaging oni on multiple ocasions. Good teamwork (and good comming) makes for really great games. <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd--> lol... i was comm this game i believe(voogru server rite)
I was comm and I found out about the rush....... but theres a nice demo of the 8 onos rush on www.voogru.com under the onos rush thread... its sweet as hell if u guys wanna see
I've had so many good games, i can't be bothered to type all the moments.
But recently there was one game that just stood out from so many others i've had recently.
It was on ns_origin, and it was all going pretty much to plan, no major conflicts, not much hassle and we spread quite fast. Cut to 15 minutes or so into the game.
We decided to make our move on Biodome hive, we established a phase and siege outpost just outside of the hive, we had ~3 heavies kitted with HMG's and welders building out sieges, getting ready for some total domination. Then the Onos came, and his two Fade friends. Backed up with Gorge and Skulk support we were suddenly under heavy attack. We got attacked from both sides, we kept beating them back, but due to redemption and gorge support they just weren't dying. They were hacking at our defences, bile bombing from the bottom of the elevator and we had Skulks xenociding left right and centre. We were slowly, but surely, getting destroyed. First to go was our TF, so another was built in the first break from combat we had. That was then taken down, the sieges and turrets began to fall and slowly the heavies began going down.
Somehow, i really haven't the faintest idea, i managed to survive the 10 minute, virtually non-stop battle, stock marines kept phasing through and i managed to get welded enough to stay alive. Eventually the phase was down and there was nothing left but me screaming "AH CRAP I NEED A WELD!". I somehow managed to get out of there and stumble back into base, virtually no armour, barely any health and no ammo. Man, it felt so good to get back to safety. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
Three skulks. One....me. Took one down with my LMG, another with my pistol, and the third was about to kill me when a teammate shot him in the back and he went through the death animation in MIDAIR. PWN!!!
In more detail, it happened a couple of days ago. The map was ns_eclipse. It was that place in the map with the floorboard that's not placed properly, like someone pulled it out. I'm gunning down one skulk when TWo come to his aid. I whip out my LMG and start utilizing the training I recieved from my days of lightsaber-dueling in Jedi Outcast.(Crackweasel jumping and circle strafing). I take one down, theres two left. These skulks are jumping around like crazy, biting like they're nuts. Comm drops a medpack on me. I take two bites. Down to red health. Pistol takes another one out. Have to stop and reload. Whip out my LMG. Reloading while Circle strafe crackweasel jumping, dodging skulkbites. It seems like it's going to be to no avail, the skulk jumps right at my face and I hear the bite sound, when suddenly, my partner(who had been killed by the first skulk when he dropped from the ceiling) runs into the hallway and finishes the skulk off with one well placed shotgun blast to the head.
And then there was the time an onos gored the commchair to death and I spawned in the MIDDLE of the onos. It couldn't move OR hit me, so I just knifed it to death. Most embarassing for the Onos, glorious for me. This was in the version that us non-PTs have to use right now. Probably a bug of some sort.
I once shot a skulk...yeah...that was cool <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
hee hee hee. Actually, my favorite was when a group of marines faced off against a group of 4-5 skulks. (I don't know how many marines there were, simply that they all died in a slaughter). This was at West Access in on ns_tanith. I was running down the hall between marine start and the hallway with the vent on one side, the ladder to RR at one end, and the ladder to West Access at the other end. Right when I got to the marine start end, I heard skulks....LOTS OF THEM. I backed up against the wall, deciding to sell my life as dearly as possible. Calling to base about the skulk rush, the skulks run around the corner, four of them (I am not sure whether the marines below killed one, that's why I couldn't give an accurate number). I hold down the trigger and track one after another....and soon they are all dead in ONE LMG clip......my friends beat them up really bad. None had even made it to me. I did my simple taunt "WOW" and moved down to West Access, where I was promptly ambushed and killed by a pair of fat guys. Oh, the glorious taunting!
