Right, i'm starting my own country where the official currency is the cornish pasty.

Then Flayra will HAVE to accept pasties as payment! Mwahaahaahaaa!

    <span style='font-size:21pt;line-height:100%'>WTH are you guys talkin about!</span>

Of course America has meat pies, I eat them all the time!

However, spinich pies are much better.

Just go to your local deli, and ask if they have any meat/spinich pies. Hmm... the name is orginally Arabic in nature, too bad I forgot it. If I could remember the name you could find some nice juicy meat pies in no time.

The pies themselves are shaped like a triangle, with the courners of the bread folded in on itself.

They are called fhy-thai-ids or something... good lord, I'll go look this up.

Those sound a bit like pirogues. They're also a folded bread thing with meat in them. From Russia.. I think.

Now you've gone and made me hungry as well.. good thing I'm going downtown to have chinese food soon <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

Aussie pies are round, with a pasty crust around the egde. It may very well be that these two culinary items are one and the same, I am merely pointing out though that these American-Arabic pies may be differant to the Australian type.

I guess the real question in whether Flayra will accept a box of Four & Twenty pies as payment. It would certainly provide sustinance for long nights of coding <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

Sending unneeded foreign currency to Flayra is a good idea, because:
    1) It wouldn't be a big deal if it got stolen in the mail
    2) It would add up

I'd rather eat Kangaroo then Vegemite. God, what's vegemite made out of, that crap is horrendous. And Kangaroo isn't much better. Just big stupid rats you hit while driving through the middle of nowhere.

Yeast extract. That's it. I knew it, but couldn't think of it. I was going to say kelp or something.

I think the same is with Haggis.

Maybe he would like my Giant Novelty Quarter that I bought for $5 at the U.S. Bureau of Printing & Engraving in D.C.

I still question what I was thinking, buying a worthless giant 25-cent piece for $5.

Sure, you can't use it for a quarter, but maybe he could trade it for more than 25 cents.

Or use it as a coaster.

    Haggis is a scoths delicatesse, it's a sheep's organs wrapped in its stommach or something <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif'><!--endemo-->

kangaroo is one of the nicest meats I have ever tryed, right up there with croc and emu.

worst, rabit, probably harder to like when your the one that killed it.

Never tried kangaroo, but Rabbit can be very agreeable if cooked correctly.

Anyway, skinning rabbits is half the fun <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> the other half is ripping the organs out, while any remainder is left over to cooking and eating <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

I've definetly gotta try kangaroo meat, guess that goes up there with snake and skulk meat <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

Those "triangle pies" sound more like samosas... I'm intrigued as to what you Americans eat after a big night out if you don't have pies?!

Every petrol station, deli, bakery and some dairies have pies here <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->
