Sprite Not Found

I started NS game and after the connection to NS server , the console read it could not find sprites

some sort of sprites why?

Error: could not load file sprites/top_left.spr
Error: could not load file sprites/top.spr
Error: could not load file sprites/top_right.spr

Error: could not load file sprites/right.spr
Error: could not load file sprites/bottom_left.spr

There another problem with NS, when I join a game with a server
the NS, with steam installed hanged my computer especially JUST b4 loading the next map, but other mod such as CS, DOD team fortress play fine, why?

its a known bug, there is no workaround, just wait till 2.1 comes out (where it is fixed)
