Yea, the first one is great.
Don't like the second :/
The third looks a little old (at least for NS).

I'm going to redesign the wasp. I'm trying to get the basic shape of it down. Which one of these is better (based on shape)?

Why can't I draw weapons (or anything for that matter) like that?

The top one looks like it would be awkward to put it against your shoulder

I keep thinking of P90 style foregrips when I see a weapon like that (too short to have a real foregrip like SA-80, etc), but that's cliche now

I've done the first concept, with some minor changes. I think it matches pretty well. Anyway here's a look at it:

PC: 1006

i think the foregrip maps it look ugly, like a extended bizon or somthing ;p

I think the whole thing looks dead sexy.

The carrying handle looks stupid, and in any case is way too forward to be useful. Where's the clip? You cant possibly have a P90-style clip under the weapon, it'd would be hellish to reload. The whole gun looks a bit large for a lmg. And do make a decent foregrip.
• DethGauntDethGaunt Join Date: 2003-06-02 Member: 16938Members
i think its nice.. but that foregrip looks like a little off O_o

the carrying handle looks odd with the rest of the gun

are you done? I really feel the need to make it look perfect for you so please **** some more.

The foregrip is a slap on because i had other things to do, im sorry it doesn't meet your impeccable standards. I didn't do this for your entertainment i did it for mine, so if you dont like it fine and if you want to comment on it that's fine too, just dont be an **** about it.

I am trying to make the wasp but this is my first try at modeling. Just a question, how many faces should I have on one side of the stock? It comes out 5 in the middle and goes back to 0 on the edges. I think I used like 15. Good/bad?

reminds me a lot of real guns I have seen...
like calico? reminds me of calico... and a little f2000
• PhyPhy Join Date: 2003-03-01 Member: 14163Members
It's a shame calico went out of business, it was a great design.

I like the latest wasp design, but I would suggest making the grip a little wider. Nice designs.

The calico was my favorite SMG...the helical mag was such a great design...what a shame...

Ya, the Calicos were of pretty slick design... too bad they were.. um.. buggy...

Redesign & render of the wasp. The foregrip is fold-down.
