I'm trying to get it working but the AutoUpdate system in the launcher.exe is screwed. I've tried everything they suggest to get it working, and it doesn't.
So then i found the updated launcher.exe, i installed it and it has no /trial variable, it asks me for billing information. So i can't use that.
Basically, i have no way of updating the game. Can anyone host the updated ac2client.exe (Updated only, not the one you download with the trial.) since as it stands, this is a giant waste of my time. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->
*EDIT: It gets better, in the AC2 directory, there's a file called "updateclient.exe". This little util searches their update servers for patches and lists them. Nothing more. This just proves that it's having no problem contacting the server. Goddamnit! 1 day of the trial wasted so far.
