Unable To Connect To Any Server

I can't play NS, because whenever I try to connect to a server (or create one) the "Loading" screen comes up, and then the screen turns black and I get a dreaded "Hl has caused an error in HL.EXE. Hl will now close"-error. (see image)
This only happens to NS, because CS works fine. NS also worked fine yesterday.
I'm using Windows ME, with NVIDIA GeForce 2 MX/MX 400, 512 MB RAM, Intel Celeron processor (something like 700 mhz)... Also, my retail version of Half-Life is Generation (HL GOTY edition, OpFor, CS and BShift).
Hope anyone can help me.
