<div class="IPBDescription">This is a LEGAL topic, I swear</div> I've been looking at chipping my PS2. I make movies, and use my PS2 as a DVD player. If I chipped my playstation and then burned the movies I made onto a DVD would it read these discs? Or is there some kind of a work around to get it to do that. Thanks

If they are movies that he actually made and owns the copyright to then it is.
However, attempting to circumvent digital protections is not legal under the DCMA (Even though I hate it).
If the movies you are making are your own intellectual property then you should be in the clear. However to be completely legal you cannot use your PS2 to play any DVD other than the ones you create once you 'mod' it.
Why don't you just create VCDs? I believe that the PS2 can play these w/o modification. THat way you dont have to worry about soldering your PS2 to death or violating any laws?
Lol, anyway, why don't you just buy a DVD burner for your computer, I think you can find a decent one for like 40 bucks now.
Condoned on these forums, no.
