One Of Those 'nights"

You know the ones where you seem above everybody else.
Not better than them but...diferent ?
A night of NS where everthing you trie works 100% of the time ?

I had one last night and it was great !
Was playing as Alien and it was on a veteran server that had tourny mode on (ff).

We divided into groups.
% go gorge other % skulk to keep rines busy and 2 save for hives.
And one player Lerk.
Yep you guessed it I lerked but only cos nobody else wanted to.

We got sc's first I never really play'ed a game where we got sc's first.
It was mostly DC - MC- SC so I though I was done for.

I swooped around Lerking high above all the rines.
I spent time in the vents and shot out at rines with spikes.
You'd be surprised how many vents there are that rines cant see because they are to high, to dark or just well hidden.

I killed one rine wile the other one behind him just started spraying the walls and roof tops doing alot of damage to his teamates and followd by a spore could they all died and he was left alone all he heard from behind was a chuckle and the nothing.
(Was kicked soon after for being a n00b on a Veterans server lol )

The map's on NS are so well done that I spend most of my time (when im saving res or not fighing) looking for hidden pertches (where lerk's can sit and wait for the rines to pass.)

I was even in their base and they still never killed me.

So remember never underentimate a lone lerk cos he'll own early in the games.

I plyed about 4-5 maps.
Think NS_Bast,Tanith,Nancy and somthing else lol.

Odd, everytime i see a lerk when im a marine, i perty much ignore everything else just to take them down. You want to lerk against me, ill haunt you dead , O.o
