<div class="IPBDescription">NEVER LET ME IN THE COMM CHAIR!</div> I have absolutly no strategies for any maps, i don't know what res towers to go for first, i mess up the buttons and i always manage to drop waypoints for someone when i don't want to. Last night i played a game where no one went commander after about 3 minutes, so i had to. Then someone tried to vote me out, which was annoying.
Anyway, we lost. So: If you're in a game and you see me, for the love of God, don't let me in that chair.

don't worry about your comming, some people are just naturals at it and win from their very first game, others really should just avoid the chair at all costs. Try looking closely at the map overviews and devising some sort of strategy, or steal some from the frontiersman strategy forum. As you comm more, you'll learn to adapt strategy for the situation at hand. Don't give up just yet, imo comming's the funnest part of NS.
what i mean by this... is from a grunts perspective.... you know what everything actually is in 3d... you know its a ledge.. not a table.. you know whether the vent is above or below the room... ect ect...
Its always lovely when a comm drops something waay out of reach and says BUILD!!!!
and you have to explain to his dumb **** **** that you CANT REACH IT.... while trying to build a 4 person tower which constantly gets munched down.......

Add me to this list. Despite my "skill" at the other classes, be it marine or alien, i've never been able to get a handle on comming.
It's not that I don't know the maps, but my strategy seems to consist of "grab every RT on the map" at which point they all get eaten because I don't have enough res to electrify, and then we don't get out of base for the rest of the game.
Which is strange because i've always been good at strategy games <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->
Although I guess in warcraft 3 your peasants arn't whining for shotguns and trying to eject you...
isn't that annoying? No-one goes commander and whoever actually does gets voted out? What do they expect to do next? I mean at least you had the guts to go there, plus it's just plain wrong to vote someone out of the commchair when you yourself have no idea how to comm correctly
