Ha Sound Loss At Lvl3 Armor?

<div class="IPBDescription">Is it true?</div> Before all of you fourm lurkers start i looked for "ha sound" "sound loss" "ha sound loss" "HA sound at lvl3 armor" and none came up with helpful topics. So my question is: Is it true that you lose your HA sounds(foot steps ect ect) at lvl3 armor. Or is it just at random, or am i the only one who loses them?

Happens to me too not sure if its as linear as level 3 armor though

I've experienced loss of footstep sounds as well, but never checked if it was due to lvl 3. With footsteps I mean the jump sound too.

I seem to remember reading something stating a bug where lvl 3 armour HAs were silenced was fixed for 3.0 so I think you're right.

O Fixed bug where HA footsteps didn't play when armor 3 was researched (bug #49).

Yeh it was always funny going from pounding down the hallways to getting a lot stronger and becoming silent.

Bit of a neat bug im just curious why armour level affects it though??

Higher levels of armor slows you down a tiny bit. It's not actually noticed ingame, but the engine notices it, and also notices how it goes past the limit of "stop making sounds"... you know, how you don't make sounds when you hold your walk key.
