Info_location

<div class="IPBDescription">Arrangement ...</div> I've recently completed all the brushwork and lighting on my map to as good as I want it. I have a small problem, is there a simple quick way of making the info_location's? Or do I have to go thru the painfully slow process of adding them to each room, creating exact room dimensions in width length and depth; then tieing to entity?
If there isn't a quicker way it might be a good suggestion for upcoming mapping features.

I don't think you need depth so it would be easy to clone your floor and then shrink it a bit so it doesn't poke outside. Anyone know about any other way.

Read the guidlines. Use the aaatriger texture (well, i do, maybe null if you want) and tie that to the entity. Make the brush 8 units high to reduce lag, and strech it over the area you want to be called whatever you named it. It shouldn't be much of a hassle.

    two things
first of keep in mind that info_location is always expaned into a rectangle ( i think)
second that the z axis dont matter thus you can put them 500 units below the map so teh done show up in the geometry
personally i build mine like this (from teh side)

    map

    locations
