Map Problem

<div class="IPBDescription">map lag</div> [FONT=Arial][SIZE=7]have ns map 99% done very large,tecture 3.93, r speeds range about 45 to 700,partical systems 4 not alot of sprites in them after playing for about 10 to 18 min. ,fps drops from 65 to15-20. they drop at a slow steady rate. before they drop map plays fine then starts to lag more and more. f-4 end game or even with cheats on quit game go to readyroom in about 20-40 seconds fps goes back up to 65 fps.any advice or help would be great ,thanks.

    Check to make sure your particle systems are actually killing off the particles over time. You might have a system thats generating infinite particles that never die, so it slowly fills up the map with so many particles it lags due to constant rendering. Going back to the readyroom might reset that, maybe.

    In particular, check that the particle life is not set to minutes.
